Ben Walker is a Stockport County superfan like no other, with a love for the club that runs so deep that it has driven him to collect over 500 player-worn County shirts.
Stockport fans are celebrating news that the club’s Edgeley Park stadium is set for a redevelopment which will see their capacity increase from 10,852 to 18,000.
Stockport County’s ladies’ side have more than doubled their previous attendance record, as 737 fans turned out to support for their 3-0 triumph over local rivals FC United.
Their previous record stood at 310, against Leeds United in 2002.
