Tonight, Salford hosts the annual televised fundraiser for Children in Need, with Vernon Kay joining the presenting line-up of Rochelle Humes, Ade Adepitan MBE, Mel Giedroyc, Chris Ramsey and Lenny Rush.
Children In Need is a charity fundraiser event, that supports over 1,500 local charities and projects in communities across the UK. They help children and young people who face challenges in their everyday lives such as living in poverty, being disabled or ill, or experiences of trauma.
Therefore, every year in the appeal show celebrities join Pudsey the bear (mascot) for a night of fundraising that will include sketches, comedy routines, challenges and music performances, with individuals in need also sharing their heartfelt stories for the nation to hear.
In tonight’s show, sketches will include Bluey and Strictly Come Dancing collaborating on a special performance, and the cast of the TV show ‘Outnumbered’ reuniting to bring the Brockman family back together, as well as many more.
